[EXPLORE SG]Sky lanterns “float up” Supertrees for blessings at Gardens by the Bay’s Mid-Autumn Festival 2021

Mid-Autumn Festival 2021 (滨海花园庆’k) at Gardens by the Bay launched on 15 September 2021 with a light-up of the showstopper lantern set Sky Lanterns (ff福)T), where 70 lanterns float up the Supertrees at the Gardens’ main entrance. At 32m wide and 19m tall, Sky Lanterns is the largest lantern set this year. Inspired by the eponymous Chinese lanterns that are traditionally released to the sky in hopes of good blessings, Sky Lanterns represents the theme of this year’s festival – blessings (ff福). [EXPLORE SG] Lights on the Supertrees will ‘dance’ once more as full version of Garden Rhapsody returns to usher in the NEW Year

With Singapore having moved into Phase 3, Gardens by the Bay will be bringing back the full version of its Garden Rhapsody light and sound show from 8 January 2021.

The popular light and sound show at Supertree Grove sees the lights of 12 Supertrees “dance” to a musical soundtrack. The 15-minute show will return to its original 7.45pm and 8.45pm timing every evening, and is FREE. Read More

Apart from Singapore iconic tourist attraction places like Marina Bay Sands, Gardens by the Bay, Singapore Zoo and ArtScience Museum, Chinatown Heritage Centre located at 48 Pagoda Street is also one of the tourist spot to go to. I had the opportunity to visit the beautifully-restored shophouses turned centre and it was definitely a good exposure. I was quite impressed with the museum that literally transport back to 1950s.
