Starting 17 May til 13 August 2017, fans of Cinnamoroll get to visit Kumoya (Singapore’s first Halal-Certified Japanese-French café) to check out the Cinnamoroll-theme pop-up café to mark Cinnamoroll’s 15th anniversary. Cinnamonroll (シナモロール ) is a character series created by Sanrio in 2001, with character designs from Miyuki Okumira. The main character, Cinnamon is a white puppy with long ears, blue eyes, pink cheeks and a plump and curly tail that resembles a cinnamon roll. Pompompurin Café located at Orchard Central is the first Sanrio character café in Singapore followed by Hello Kitty Café at Changi Airport. When the café first opened, many queued for hours for it. I didn’t join the hype to queue and finally visited the café over the weekend with E because E wanted to take cute selfie with the sanrio character. So irony, right? Gudetama food craze is happening in Hong Kong! It was not a planned dinner but somehow rather we were nearby the location and end up at Dim Sum Icon. If you are not aware about it, Gudetama is known with the lazy looking yolk and it is Japanese-origin anime character that flooded with social media feeds recently.
