I was invited for food tasting session at SELA Restaurant few weeks back. It is located approximately 10 minutes walk from City Hall & Bugis MRT station. SELA is a restaurant offering modern European items with mixture of modern Asian creations for the newly revamp menu by Chef Benson.
I traveled to Yangon, Myanmar with a Korean friend on July this year. We were so easy-going that we just booked the air ticket and flew there with no plans. Nan Hwa Chong Fishboat is the oldest (since 1927) fishhead steamboat in Singapore. If you ask your elderly, they will surely heard about it. It’s traditional fish soup steamboat represents Singapore’s heritage and memories to Singaporean. What makes them different from the rest is that the steamboats are prepared using charcoals instead of gas-stove steamboats. This reputable brand has finally opened its branch here in Capitol Piazza, Singapore. Hannah, Luna and I were at the same building last Saturday and decided to check it out after our event.
