If you are planning for Desaru trip, do drive another 30 minutes to Sungai Rengit for live lobsters and seafood feast. Since we were heading to Desaru, we decided to visit Jade Garden Seafood Restaurant for lunch before check-in to Westin Desaru Coast. The restaurant has moved to a bigger space with air-conditioned now. They also cater outdoor dining space with seascape view as well. It has been years since I last visit Sungai Rengit. I also noticed that there are so many seafood restaurants to choose from now.

We were here around 1 plus and we noticed that they even have Muslim customers too. So, the restaurant serves no pork, no lard and it is muslim-friendly. This is good that everyone gets a taste of fresh seafood dishes here. Read More
