Halia at Singapore Botanic Gardens is officially a Halal-certified restaurant as of June 2017. Although they have converted to halal restaurant, there are not many changes as a whole. The significant changes is that they no longer offering alcoholic drinks. Halia still serves modern European cuisine with Asian influences but made using ingredients that are sourced only from Halal-certified suppliers. Read More

Aburiya & The Container Bar is a newly-opened restaurant and bar located at Boat Quay. The Container offers tapas and alcoholic drinks while Aburiya offers Japanese casual dining experience. So, why is it called The Container? The name comes from the shipping container Izakayas that Wagyu farmers in Hokkaido gathered regularly to chit chat over small Wagyu dishes and alcohol. Tamoya Udon located at Liang Court Mall offers different types of udon dishes. The brand has 31 outlets across Japan, Taiwan, Vietnam, Indonesia and Singapore. This is my first time visiting the outlet even though I passed by whenever I am at Liang Court.
