Its spring time and we have Sakura in blooms at Gardens By The Bay, Singapore this year. I no need to pay expensive flights to go Japan to witness the sakura. Gardens by the Bay’s latest floral display. “Blossom Beats” is happening till 27 March 2016. I was there on Sunday evening and there were a huge crowd queuing to purchase tickets. My dad loves to explore new places all the time. He recently recommended Hung Kitchen located at Kampung Ungku Mohsin to the family. But my mum is aware the existence of this place as this is one of her lunch options when her company used to be at the area. Basically, the place has been operating for years and people start noticing this place due to their affordable pricing. Hung Kitchen is hidden in one of the houses along the street. EH HE Café along Jalan Tan Hiok Nee first started out last year with their unique coffee story concept under Just Want Coffee (JWC) and later on closed for a renovation for few months before they open with new concept. I visited the place twice since last December 2015 after it is being revamped. EH HE Art Café is no longer collaborating with JWC and has come up with their own concept of foods and drinks. During a trip to Kuching last month, I was impressed with the development of the state.My first impression on Kuching, Sarawak is a less developed state as compared with other states of Malaysia. But after I arrived,I was wrong and Kuching has more than 180 hotels cater to travellers from all over the world.Hotel deals are on various platform including HotelsCombined. No worries on the hotel accomodation here.
So,I accidentally came across this fancy rainbow goreng pisang through Instagram. This triggers my interest to give it a try.Apparently, rainbow goreng pisang has been selling in different states of Malaysia quite sometime. However, I have not come across this yet and I am excited to give the first try. If you are not familiar with goreng pisang, this is a deep-fried banana covered with batter and is known by locals in Malaysia, Singapore, Philippine and Brunei. Read More

I was in Kuching, Sarawak over the weekend last month. It is my first time visiting Kuching and all this started when my sister inviting me to join her to visit her bff. We booked through AirAsia and I began listing the foods that I want to try. One of them is from Noodle Descendents which was used to call Min Joo Café. Min Joo Café was located at Bishop Gate, a small lane off Carpenter Street, Kuching years back. And now, the shop has renamed to Noodle Descendants (面家汤) and shift to a shop house at Jalan Padungan.
