I visited Makkha Health & Spa Heritage Asoke, located within a walking distance from Terminal 21 and a short walk from BTS Asok and MRT Sukhumvit. The walk is less than 10 minutes and despite being surrounded by the buzz of downtown Bangkok, the noise just disappeared the moment I walked through the doors. The space instantly give off a boutique spa vibes, clean, calming and beautifully designed with Modern Asian touches.

Makkah Health & Spa Bangkok-2

Before anything else, we are greeted with a chilled glass of bael fruit tea and Thai snacks- rice cracker. Then, we were given a form to fill up our particulars before our treatment begins.

Makkah Health & Spa Bangkok-private room

I chose the 120-minute treatment combo which is a mix of foot massage and Thai massage. As part of Thai custom, they started the session by washing my feet. We pre-purchase the treatment via here and it is advisable to pre-book your appointment before heading down. Although their official website provides the booking facilities, the price is slightly higher. Thus, i would suggest to book through KLOOK and you can enjoy further 5% discount when you key in ” HAZELOFFKLOOK” before you cart out.

The therapist was skilled and intuitive, ensuring the pressure and technique were just right throughout the session. She worked on my tight shoulders and sore legs after all the walking. I felt those knots melt away.
