House of MU located at 11 Mohamed Sultan Road is the latest F&B restaurant along the stretch of shop houses. “MU” here refers to Chinese character “木 ” which means wood. Apart of serving delicious food, the furniture showcased in the restaurant is available for sale. And the furniture is from Burmese teak wood. I was told that they started out as a small pasta shop at Bukit Timah selling pastas before it ventures to restaurant when Mr Salvatore’s mum started serving them. And so from there, they expanded to Boat Quay and another outlet at Siglap. The brand has also expanded their business to China.
