Movie Review:
This is my first time watching Korean action movie with inspired by true events. The plot drives the life-or-death struggles between the communism and the Korean love of family. “Ideology is thicker than blood” was mentioned several times throughout the movie. This appears to be one of the prominent idioms in the public representation of the Korean War experience in postwar South Korea.
A lot of intimate violence from the movie along the way with good plot except on the initial start of the movie that made us confused. We were thinking who the bad guy is initially but subsequently we get hold of the story. Many intense scenes that caught us off-guard and our eyes were glued on the screen all the time not to miss any part of the details. It is indeed a worth-while movie to watch and the war scenes and effects are well-played. The actors did a good job with the acting skills especially on their facial expressions.

Date of Release: 15th September 2016
Rating: NC16 (Consumer Advice: Violence)
Language: In Korean and English with English and Chinese subtitles
Run time: 110-mins
Genre: Action/ Drama
