KOONE started its soft opening on 12th November 2015 and I decided to visit them over the weekend. In Singapore, we have quite a number of Bangkok-style coconut ice-cream opening this year. But if you are residing in Malaysia, Sangkaya is the one that the locals are raving about recently. The brand itself started off at Kuala Lumpur (KL) selling coconut ice-cream based desserts is founded by Malaysian. If you been to this area, the whole stretch of double-storey individual houses are bridal shops. It has been a while since my last Openrice tasting. This time round is at CATO , the modern Asian restaurant and bar located just opposite the Sri Mariamman Temple. CATO offers an extensive list of craft beers, spirits and quirky tapas or bar bites.
