Dragon-I restaurant delicacies is inspired by the rich and diverse culinary offerings from China especially from the regions of Shanghai, Szechuan, Beijing and Lanzhou. My first experience with Dragon-I was at Pavilion outlet in Kuala Lumpur 5 years back. Thus, when they expanded their outlet to Johor Bahru, I am glad that my family get a taste of it. Nasi Kandar is one of the signature Malaysian dish and is also a Penang staple. Nasi Kandar is quite similar as Chinese chai peng but this is a plate of steamed rice with variety of curry-based meat dishes and vegetables. Pompompurin Café located at Orchard Central is the first Sanrio character café in Singapore followed by Hello Kitty Café at Changi Airport. When the café first opened, many queued for hours for it. I didn’t join the hype to queue and finally visited the café over the weekend with E because E wanted to take cute selfie with the sanrio character. So irony, right? Read More

Froth has moved to Ascott Raffles Place sometime back and this is my second time visiting time here. E and I went food hunting over the weekend and decided to check out the Italian restaurant, Casa Tartufo. Casa Tartufo is located in the Scarlet Hotel, a quaint boutique hotel within a walking distance from Outram Park and Telok Ayer MRT station. Casa Tartufo specialized in fungus, truffles which exactly fit the name of the restaurant. We made a reservation via CHOPE and it was a quiet Saturday night at the restaurant. Read More

New Ubin Seafood is going to move to their new location at HillView Avenue mid of November 2016 and we decided to visit their current location at Sin Ming for birthday celebration. We made a reservation and were given 2 hours time frame to dine in. New Ubin Seafood started of from a restaurant Pulau Ubin’s north shore with the kampong-style décor. They are listed in Singapore Michelin Bib Gourmand Guide 2016 and since then more and more people visiting the place. Read More
