The Japanese-style baked cheese tart from BAKE has taken its storm in Singapore and Hong Kong where people don’t mind queuing for the fresh tarts from the oven. Dragon-I restaurant delicacies is inspired by the rich and diverse culinary offerings from China especially from the regions of Shanghai, Szechuan, Beijing and Lanzhou. Whenever weekend comes, JB café hopping is one of the activities that we do across the causeway. Faculty of Caffeine is one of the first JB café that is by walking distance from City Square mall and JB check point. The café is also the earliest café that start operating which I would recommend to drop by if you reach JB by 9am to beat the traffic. This is what my friends and I do. We will travel as early as 7am from Singapore to reach JB by 9am so that we will be get stuck in the jam. Read More

Sugar On Top Café (SOT) has expanded their outlet to Kulai and Taman Sutera, Johor Bahru. The outlet located at Taman Sutera is the newest addition in town. The cafe has opened for business early August 2016 and yet remains low profile as their kitchen is not ready to serve. We were there over the weekend and were told that SOT only serves coffee, drinks and waffles. The kitchen will be ready on 15th August 2016. Read More
