Finally made my way to Ipoh Tuck Kee Son 怡保德记仔炒粉 at Foch Road. I miss the legendary famous fried noodles yut kong hor in Ipoh that I had during my visit to Ipoh in 2019. Ever since their opening late last year, the queue is madness. I heard some queued for 2 hours for it. Thank god! We only queued for 10minutes and wait for 20 minutes for our food. My last visit to The Bravery was at their previous location at Horne Road. Oh boy! Time flies! and they are reopen the new location at Amoy Street. The Muslim-owned restaurant is now located at a two-storey conservation shophouse along the Amoy Street neighbourhood. The first floor is where you can get your coffee fix and a variety of seating formats caters to different interactions whole the second storey houses The Bravery’s in-house bakery, which churns out fresh breads and baked goods daily. Chen’s Mapo Tofu is the sister concept of Chen Kentaro’s two-Michelin-starred fine dining restaurant Shisen Hanten opens its second outlet at Star Vista. Their first outlet is at Downtown Gallery. This concept focuses on Sichuan cuisine and the price is pocket-friendly that cater to everyone. They used to have one outlet at Jewel Changi Airport but it was closed down recently. Read More

My last visit to GoroGoro Steamboat & Korean Buffet was in 2016 ( Read here). Time flies and GoroGoro has closed down the outlet at Orchard Gateaway and re-opens at The Centrepoint outlet last November 2020. They also have another outlet at Tampines 1. Read More

Gimee Face Noodle House located at one of the Hougang coffee shop is the new eatery in town. The stall is located at Yihuat Cafe coffee shop at Blk 681 Hougang Ave 8. My friend and I took quite sometime to locate this newly-renovated kopitiam during our visit. Read More

Jia Bin Klang Bak Kut Teh located at Rangoon Road is one of the Malaysian-style Bak Kut Teh you can find in Singapore. The eatery is originated from Seremban, Malaysia and they also brought in Klang-style bak kut teh as well. If you are familiar with Klang bak kut teh, then you will know it is the dry version that you cannot find in many places. Read More

Si Chuan Dou Hua Restaurant at PARKROYAL on Kitchener Road debuts with first grand makeover since establishment in 2011. It is great to be back here again with the new refurbished interior and menu. Garang Grill is back in New Ubin Village located at Space @ Tampines.The location is a commercial property along Tampines Industrial Crescent and the building is right opposite IKEA Tampines. It is much easier for those who drives because the place is not conveniently accessible via public transport. The previous Garang Grill was at Swan Lake Avenue in 2017 and announced its closure on 31 December 2019. It is good to seem them back in action again. Read More

Whenever people talked about Kim San Leng Food Centre, Min Ji Chicken Rice stall came into the picture. The food centre is located within a walking distance from Bishan MRT Station and Junction 8 Mall. But I am here not for the chicken rice but for the Charcoal Char Siew Wanton Noodle few stalls away from the famous chicken rice. Read More
