Ho Seng Kee is known to be one of the best JB Wanton mee in Johor Bahru when you google online. Most Singaporeans will surely give this place a try when they are in Johor Bahru. KK invited me to Seri Mutiara Restaurant for the seafood buffet on a Saturday night recently. Seri Mutiara Restaurant is located on the ground level of Mutiara Hotel Johor Bahru. If you are a frequent shopper at Holiday Inn Plaza, you will probably know the exact location of the hotel. The building is just next to it and it is a short distance away from KSL Mall. Johor Bahru cafes are expanding fast and you get to see new cafes opening almost every other month. Apart from the cafes near the JB Checkpoint , Mount Austin and Taman Molek, it’s time to venture to Taman Ungku Tun Aminah. This area is located quite a distance from JB checkpoint but nearer to Sutera area. If you are taking Grab/ Uber from JB checkpoint, the fee is approximately RM25~RM35 (one way) depending on traffic, timing and demand on that point of time. Omaya is the latest Korean eateries in Mount Austin, Johor Bahru followed by its success in Subang Jaya and Mont Kiara, Kuala Lumpur.
