In celebration of Peony Jade’s12th birthday, the brand is launching their new ala carte menu to their valued guests. This is my second visit to Peony Jade and I am glad that I am back for more. Peony Jade is one of the established Chinese restaurants in Singapore specializing in Szechuan and Cantonese cuisine. I visited Nobiro Japanese Restaurant & Sake Bar 2 weeks ago with fellow foodies on one of the weekday’s dinner. Nobiro is located at Faber Drive which is just few footsteps away from Buck Tile St. Café. The location is hidden inside the neighbourhood area and it would be advisable to travel with own transport. The restaurant gave me homely feel the moment I stepped in. True enough the restaurant shared that most of their regulars are family-oriented diners and also Japanese expatriates as well. Read More

Nung Len located at Mackenzie Road is my latest visit to Thai Café recently. Thanks Tony for inviting me over. Since it is approximately 15-20 minutes walk away from my workplace (Bugis), I decided to walk over after work. The name ‘Nung Len’ in Thai is referring to ‘sit and chill’ and is currently operating by a young owner chef, Ms Jen Fu. She graduated from Le Cordon Bleu and found her interest on Thai Cuisine. Yoogane Singapore has officially launched Galbi Jeongol as their seasonal menu on 1st May 2016 (Labour Day). Galbi Jeongol which is known as Korean stew hotpot dishes served with the scrumptious soup base, marinated chicken, mushroom and variety of vegetables.
