[EXPLORE SG] The Changi Chapel and Museum Near To Changi Prison Reopens On May 2021

The Changi Chapel and Musuem (CCM) located close to Changi Prison is where thousands of Allied Prisoners-of-War (POWs) and civilians were held captive during the Japanese Occupation of Singapore from 1942 to 1945. This revamped place is to remember the experiences of those hel and a site of pilgrimage for the families of those held captive. It was closed for revamp since 2018 and finally open with new look, new logo and more enhanced experience. [EXPLORE SG] Gardens by the Bay and Japanese creative force NAKED present Dandelion

People in Singapore can interact with the installation to send dandelion fluffs floating virtually to locations in Japan to bloom into flowers, and vice versa – evoking connectivity in difficult times. Available from today until November 15, Gardens by the Bay’s Supertree Grove plays host to Dandelion, an interactive installation that allows people in Singapore and Japan to interact with each other via dandelion fluffs. [EXPLORE SG] Flower Dome At Gardens by the Bay Reopens in July with European-themed Display

Gardens by the Bay will reopen its ticketed attractions in phases, beginning with Flower Dome on July 1, after a closure of close to three months since the circuit breaker began in April.

Tegenungan waterfall is one of the attraction spot to visit in Ubud, Bali, Indonesia. It is approximately an hour drive from Seminyak and we decided to do a day trip to explore the waterfall. [EXPLORE SG] A Visit to Chinatown Heritage Centre At 48 Pagoda Street

Apart from Singapore iconic tourist attraction places like Marina Bay Sands, Gardens by the Bay, Singapore Zoo and ArtScience Museum, Chinatown Heritage Centre located at 48 Pagoda Street is also one of the tourist spot to go to. I had the opportunity to visit the beautifully-restored shophouses turned centre and it was definitely a good exposure. I was quite impressed with the museum that literally transport back to 1950s. Mount Fansipan is known as the highest mountain in Indochina or referred as the “Roof of Indochina’. It is the highest peak located in Sapa, a town in the Lao Cai province in Northern Vietnam. Travellers/ Trekkers used to take at least 2 to 4 days to conquer the summit (including ascend and descend) but with the cable car services operating since February 2016, anyone can visit the peak easily. The exhibition is held in support of the Singapore Bicentennial, a year-long series of commemorative events to mark the 200th anniversary of the arrival of the British in Singapore.
