Singapore Restaurant Month (SRM) is back this year starting from 1 to 31 July 2016. In collaboration with the Health Promotion Board (HPB) and Singapore Tourism Board (STB), Restaurant Association of Singapore (RAS) aims to encourage both industry partners and public to appreciate the joys of healthier dining through promotion dishes that are lower in calories and/or have higher wholegrain content this year. Barashi-Tei located at Middle Road is a few weeks old Japanese Restaurant in town. The founder and chef, Mr Wang Zhen Feng picked up his culinary skills from a 60 years old Japanese Master Chef who has more than 40 years of experience. The restaurant is just conveniently located next to Le Café Confectionary & Pastry, the famous soya tarts. We were told that their ingredients are freshly imported from Japan to bring out the essence of Japanese food. Read More
