Koon Kee 冠记 located in Petaling Street is known for its wanton mee. Online reviews said it is one of the famous wantan mee in the city centre of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The traditional shop has limited seating space with only a few dining tables. The shop is easily spotted when you see an elderly uncle selling Chinese pancakes in front of their store. Katsudon Chiyomatsu is a popular katsudon shop opened by former sekitori ( sumo wrestler). It is known for its special 5cm pork cutlet/ katsu bowl so we decided to give it a try. We reached the store around 7pm and queued for an hour plus before securing our seat. The store has limited space with only 12 seats at the U-shaped counter.
