I visited Nobiro Japanese Restaurant & Sake Bar 2 weeks ago with fellow foodies on one of the weekday’s dinner. Nobiro is located at Faber Drive which is just few footsteps away from Buck Tile St. Café. The location is hidden inside the neighbourhood area and it would be advisable to travel with own transport. Nung Len located at Mackenzie Road is my latest visit to Thai Café recently. Thanks Tony for inviting me over. Since it is approximately 15-20 minutes walk away from my workplace (Bugis), I decided to walk over after work. The name ‘Nung Len’ in Thai is referring to ‘sit and chill’ and is currently operating by a young owner chef, Ms Jen Fu. She graduated from Le Cordon Bleu and found her interest on Thai Cuisine. I finally visited the highly recommended matcha swiss roll by online reviewers last Sunday. Eric ordered a roll of Matcha Swissroll so we decided to have our lunch at Dulcet & Studio. The café is located at Liang Court which is a walking distance from Clark Quay MRT station. Dulcet & Studio is a Japanese-Western style dining café operating under the same company of Tampopo Deli. Whenever weekend comes, you will see many are going across the JB causeway for shopping and eating. Youngsters will go for Café hopping in Johor Bahru. My recent visit café visit is to Union Fashion Bar located at Taman Sutera area. There are busses going to Taman Sutera if you are travelling from second link. So, fret not, it is still accessible even without driving. Union Fashion Bar (UFB) was opened last year and one of the co-owner, Mr Yap Chern Chee was a former Chef de Partie at Bakerzin Singapore since 2000.
