My second visit to Pete’s Place Grand Hyatt Hotel Singapore after 11 years (my last visit was 2009). It is said to be one of the oldest Italian restaurants in Singapore. The restaurant is located at the basement of the hotel along Scott’s Road. You need to go down the staircase upon reaching the hotel lobby. It feels like walking down into a cellar. It was my friend’s first visit and she is surprised to find out that there is a restaurant there. The basement restaurant still look the same as it was with brick walls, wooden furniture and checkered tablecloth. Read More

Another new ramen place to tick off your check list in Orchard Singapore. Menbaka Fire Ramen from Kyoto is opening its first overseas outlet in Singapore on 24 November at 3:40pm onwards. There will be 1-1 Promotion going on from 27 to 29 November. The brand is the inventor of Kyoto’s famous fire ramen and with only one outlet in Japan, this also makes Singapore its second outlet in the world. Garang Grill is back in New Ubin Village located at Space @ Tampines.The location is a commercial property along Tampines Industrial Crescent and the building is right opposite IKEA Tampines. It is much easier for those who drives because the place is not conveniently accessible via public transport.
