Zafferano has a gorgeous panaromic city view of Marina Waterfront and it’s one of the ideal restaurants to watch F1 race. I still remember my last visit was 2 years ago during F1 race. The restaurant located at Level 43 of Ocean Financial Centre offers a contemporary Italian cuisine with warm and attentive service while diners are able to enjoy their dinner with sceneries of dusk. Few weeks ago, I was invited to try out Pasta Fresca da Salvatore at Boat Quay. I was told that they started out as a small pasta shop at Bukit Timah selling pastas before it ventures to restaurant when Mr Salvatore’s mum started serving them. And so from there, they expanded to Boat Quay and another outlet at Siglap. The brand has also expanded their business to China. This Italian brand has established since 28 years ago in Singapore that specializes in handmade pastas. Read More
A week ago, I visited Z’en Japanese Cuisine with my foodie friends to celebrate one of the member’s birthday. Z’en which is the sister outlet of En Japanese Dining Bar is located at River Valley Road, UE Square. This Japanese restaurant serves affordable Japanese buffet and reservations are recommended to avoid disappointment. The Japanese buffet is by ala cart where diners are given the menu to choose and order. Z’en is run by the executive chef, Masashi Yasui from Kyoto and thus, this perhaps explains the foods’ quality here are not bad as a whole. Read More

I had an “amazing race” on Good Friday where we walked across the causeway and managed to clear JB immigration by 8.45am. I went home to take the car and we stopped at Kiang Kee Bak Kut Teh for breakfast. And thankfully by the time we finished our meal, Yap Fong Noodle House just opened for business. The noodle shop usually opens at 12noon but they opened 30minutes earlier that day. We were in luck! Read More

I was introduced to City Maps and Walks app by GPSmyCity.com recently. And I get to test and review this travel app thanks to GPSmyCity.com. Travelling has been a hobby of mine all time and I wish I could have extra money to travel more new places. Travelling requires money and planning too. Most of the time I will go FREE & EASY to explore new places rather than engage a travel agent or tour guide to do it for me. I believe everyone has their own travel style when you travel. But trust me, exploring new places without a tour guide and travel agent can be fun and challenging too. Also, you can save the money for other areas! Read More

The restaurant initially located along Orchard Road and has been relocated to other places and finally here at Amoy Street. Read More
