With the recent Hello Kitty Café opening at Terminal 3, Changi Airport this May 2016, Hello Kitty enthusiasts would never say NO to Hello Kitty! And of course, the craze continues on the month of June with the upcoming Robot Kitty Singapore. Come 11 June 2016, Hello Kitty is going high-tech this holiday season.

Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre will be home to Robot Kitty Singapore, where fans can look forward to a quest in becoming engineers at the Sanrio Training Institute. This showcase will be staged in Hall 403 for 11 days.

What to Expect?
5 Interactive Gaming Departments with well equipped with unique individual missions for Kitty’s engineers-to-be to undertake. Each completion will be rewarded with interesting parts/accessories and the challenge whirls around accumulating points via each gaming department using the Robot K. The redeemed parts/ accessories can then be used to ‘dress up’ the Robot K. This sound so interesting and fans can dress up their Hello Kitty with their own styles.

The 5 Interactive Gaming Departments are segregated into departments:

1. Design
2. Quality Control
3. Component
4. Repair
5. Energy

A game manual will be provided to guide through the interactive department so that you can complete the challenge. Also, keep a close lookout for the “Robot A” Check Points as these counters serves to display the accumulated points which you can redeem for something.

This is just perfect for family fun from young to old crowds.

Also, on 20th June, fans will get opportunity to meet the character designer behind Hello Kitty, Ms Yuko Yamaguchi in person. There will be autography session and a selected few will have her signature to add to their Hello Kitty collection.

Merchandise exclusive to the event will be available strictly to ticket holders. Most exciting part is that there will be collectible figures with interchangeable parts, LED umbrellas, luggage, metal-covered organizers and a kids’ line, a Mighty Eight’s first.

Prices of Standard open-dated admission tickets

For Adults: S$28.00
For Children( ages between 3 years to 11 years) and Senior Citizens (ages 65 years and above) : S$14.00

Each of the admission tickets will come with a Gaming Card. The Gaming Card can only be used for experience purposes without the ability to accumulate any points.

Robot K is sold separately at S$38.00.

I visited Nobiro Japanese Restaurant & Sake Bar 2 weeks ago with fellow foodies on one of the weekday’s dinner. Nobiro is located at Faber Drive which is just few footsteps away from Buck Tile St. Café. The location is hidden inside the neighbourhood area and it would be advisable to travel with own transport. The restaurant gave me homely feel the moment I stepped in. True enough the restaurant shared that most of their regulars are family-oriented diners and also Japanese expatriates as well. Read More
